The Brighton Bypass was a $176 million investment to upgrade the Midland Highway providing dual carriageway between Bridgewater and Pontville. The project was funded by the Australian Government as a key segment of the Auslink National Network. Roadways in conjunction with partner Statewide Linemarking worked with local firms VEC Civil Engineering Pty Ltd and Hazell Bros to deliver the project.
Roadways was engaged by Hazell Bros to undertake the bituminous surfacing on the newly prepared roads.
Significant Federal infrastructure project, the $176 million Brighton Bypass was upgraded in 2012.
More than 2.8 kilometres of road was surfaced as part of the $50 million Kingston Bypass in southern Tasmania.
